2014 inside linebacker Raekwon McMillan is one of the elite prospects in his class and could very well be the top recruit in the state of Georgia in 2014. McMillan currently has 18 offers, after the defending champions offered him.
Along with Alabama, Raekwon McMillan has received offers from Auburn, Clemson, Florida, Florida State, Georgia, Georgia Tech, Miami, Ole Miss, UNC, N.C. State, Notre Dame, Ohio State, South Carolina, and Texas. Those are major offers, and that’s the sign of an elite 2014 prospect to get more than ten offers from elite schools.
247Sports rates McMillan as a three-star recruit and the 14th best player in the 2014 class overall, as well as the second best ILB. He has the ability to play at WDE or FB, but he is definitely best off at inside linebacker.
The 6’3″, 235 pound Liberty County HS star runs a 4.65 forty with a 4.5 shuttle time and a 29-inch vertical. He recorded 84 tackles with 16 for a loss last year and will play in the Under Armour All-America game.
Raekwon McMillan visited Georgia a couple of days ago and says he will commit on the 14th of January; the day of the Under Armour game. He is such an incredible prospect, and it will be interesting to see just how many offers the five-star inside linebacker will get.
