Oklahoma Football Recruiting: Beau Sandland official visits

2013 four-star JUCO tight end Beau Sandland is one of the top JUCO targets in the nation and has set two official visits for the season in Oklahoma and Ole Miss. After taking an official visit to Nebraska in June, Sandland will be off to Norman later this month on the 24th of August. The date for his visit to the Rebels is set to be in mid-September (the 14th).

Beau Sandland has received many offers in his recruitment, with BCS offers coming from Arizona, Arizona State, Baylor, California, Florida, Georgia, Indiana, Iowa State, LSU, Miami, Ole Miss, Oklahoma, Nebraska, Utah, Rutgers, Texas Tech, and Purdue. California and Texas Tech are two schools who are in the mix but will not receive official visits from the TE.

Pierce Community College is known for churning out top JUCO prospects, and Sandland is one of those guys. The four-star tight end is one of the top three Junior College prospects in the nation, and he is clearly the top JUCO TE out there. As for prospects in the state of California, the argument can be made for either Sandland or his teammate Marquel Combs, who is, interestingly enough, an Ole Miss commit. Personally, I have Combs on top in the state.

Oklahoma and Nebraska are heavily involved in Beau Sandland’s recruitment, and the ‘Huskers have singled him out as their top target at the position in the 2013 class. Ole Miss also made the official visit list, and the Rebels have his teammate Combs under wraps since late April (Cal offered about a week ago).
