Basketball Recruiting: 2015 Mohamed Touray Shows Versatility

2015 Mohamed Touray is a combo guard attracting attention with his dynamic playing abilities. The New York product plays bigger than his 6’3” frame and constantly challenges defenses. After just ending his freshman year he still has a lot of time to grow.

Mohamed is a strong scorer with his ability to nail down jump shots and attack the basket. His versatility makes him fit the combo guard mold very well. Mohamed also prides himself on his ability to get teammates involved. His ability to drive and dish is certainly a plus for any team.

In the gym this summer Mohamed has worked on polishing his ball handling and shot but most importantly he’s worked on “getting myself into prime shape with conditioning”. Mohamed understands the importance of being in top shape when facing top competition.

While it is still early in his recruitment Mohamed has received interest from Miami (FL)

, Villanova, Xavier, Providence, Iona, and Hofstra. Over time more schools will become interested and offers will start rolling in as well.

Location is not a huge factor but he would like to play somewhere where his family can come see him play. He is in no rush to commit and plans on committing sometime after his Junior year. He says his dream school is the University of Florida and if he continues to progress he will certainly attract their attention. Mohamed has an extremely high ceiling and his potential will be recognized.
