Basketball Recruiting: Gavin Schilling Visits Michigan State

2013 power forward Gavin Schilling officially visited the Michigan State Spartans on March 9th.

Schilling has offers from sixteen teams. Although, he has cut his list down to four teams.

The four teams on his list include: the Michigan State Spartans, the Villanova Wildcats, the UCLA Bruins, and the Minnesota Golden Gophers.

Schilling is a 6’9″, 240 pound power forward from Chicago, Illinois. He is currently a senior at Findlay Prep High School in Henderson, Nevada.

The Findlay Prep Pilots finished the regular season with a perfect overall record of 34-0.

They are currently ranked 1st in the state of Nevada and 7th in the entire nation.

The Michigan State Spartans will be the last team on Schilling’s tour around his “Final Four.” He has already visited the campuses of Villanova, UCLA, and Minnesota.

He visited the Minnesota Golden Gophers on September 7th, the UCLA Bruins on February 9th, and the Villanova Wildcats on March 6th.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 4th in the state of Nevada, 30th among power forwards, and 127th nationally among 2013 high school recruits by 247Sports.
