Michigan Basketball Recruiting: Evan Boudreaux visiting Wolverines

The #7 Michigan Wolverines are set to take on the #2 Indiana Hoosiers today in a game that will decide who the best team in the Big Ten is. The home team, Michigan, is hosting some top hoops recruits, and they have a big chance at impressing guys like Devin Booker and Evan Boudreaux today.

Boudreaux is a talented 2015 power forward from the state of Illinois, and he has significant interest from Big Ten schools like Michigan. Although he currently has just two offers in his recruitment from the Boston College Eagles and Northwestern Wildcats, Boudreaux is a heavily recruited prospect with interest from several major teams. Butler, Harvard, DePaul, Illinois, Wake Forest, Wisconsin, Purdue, Stanford, UCLA, Tennessee, Virginia, Iowa, Michigan State, Michigan, Notre Dame, Purdue, and Oregon State are all interest.

The 6’7″, 210 pound Lake Forest star visited the Purdue Boilermakers yesterday, and he took a trip to check out the Wisconsin Badgers last week. It will be interesting to see if the Badgers offer Boudreaux soon, and I have a gut feeling that he will be getting an offer from Bo Ryan and Wisconsin at some point. He had a good visit to Madison and likes UW, so there should be some mutual interest there.

Michigan has not offered any recruits in the 2015 basketball class, and they have shown interest in just a handful of PFs thus far.
