Football Recruiting: Drake Harris Decommits From Michigan State

2014 wide receiver Drake Harris decommitted from the Michigan State Spartans on March 11th.

He has offers from seventeen teams. The teams to have offered at him include: the Florida Gators, the Georgia Bulldogs, the Michigan Wolverines, the Ohio State Buckeyes, the Michigan State Spartans, the Notre Dame Fighting Irish, the Oregon Ducks, the Penn State Nittany Lions, the Tennessee Volunteers, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Vanderbilt Commodores, the Alabama Crimson Tide, the California Golden Bears, the Indiana Hoosiers, the Kentucky Wildcats, the Nebraska Cornhuskers, and the Purdue Boilermakers.

It is projected that Harris is heavily interested in Florida, Georgia, Michigan, and Ohio State.

Also, Harris has no interest in Alabama, California, Indiana, Kentucky, Nebraska, and Purdue.

Harris is a 6’4″, 180 pound wide receiver from Grand Rapids, Michigan. He is currently a junior at Grand Rapids Christina High School.

The Grand Rapids Christian Eagles made it to the state championship of the Division 3 Michigan State Playoffs.  In the championship game, they defeated St. Mary Prep, 40-37.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 2nd in the state of Michigan, 10th among wide receivers, and 76th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
