2014 cornerback Arrion Springs received a offer from the Oregon State Beavers on March 12th. This brings his total number of offers to eight.
The other teams to have offered at him include: Baylor, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Texas Tech, Vanderbilt, Kansas, and Nebraska.
It is projected that Springs is heavily interested in the Baylor Bears, the Oklahoma Sooners, the Texas Tech Red Raiders, the Oklahoma State Cowboys, and the Vanderbilt Commodores.
Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Florida Gators, the Oregon Ducks, the LSU Tigers, the TCU Horned Frogs, the Texas Longhorns, and the USC Trojans.
Springs is a 5’11″, 187 pound cornerback from San Antonio, Texas.
He is currently a junior at Roosevelt High School.
The Roosevelt Rough Riders made it to the Conference 5A Division 2 Texas State Playoffs. They lost to Steele High School, 45-0, in the second round of the playoffs.
As a junior in 2012, Springs recorded 63 tackles, one sack, four interceptions, and one fumble recovery. He also ran a 4.46 forty, 4.12 shuttle & posted a 34-inch vertical at the Nike SPARQ Combine in Houston on February 23rd.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 31st in the state of Texas, 17th among cornerbacks, and 228th nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
