Football Recruiting: Dante Sawyer Receives Offers From LSU and Vanderbilt

2014 weak-side defensive end/linebacker Dante Sawyer received offers from the LSU Tigers and the Vanderbilt Commodores on March 11th. This brings his total number of offers to fourteen.

The other teams to have offered at him include: Alabama, Georgia, Kentucky, Ohio State, Tennessee, Arizona, Arkansas, Auburn, North Carolina State, North Carolina, South Carolina, and USC.

It is projected that Adams is heavily interested in the Alabama Crimson Tide, the Georgia Bulldogs, the Kentucky Wildcats, the Ohio State Buckeyes, and the Tennessee Volunteers.

Also, he has not received offers, but is receiving interest from the Clemson Tigers and the Florida State Seminoles.

Sawyer is a 6’3″, 240 pound defensive end/linebacker from Suwanee, Georgia. He is currently a junior at North Gwinnett High School.

The North Gwinnett Bulldogs made it to the Class 6A (AAAAAA) Georgia State Playoffs. They lost in the quarterfinals to Lovejoy High School, 21-6.

Sawyer was selected and will play in the 2014 U.S. Army All-American Bowl.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 23rd in the state of Georgia, 13th among weak-end defensive end, and 221st nationally among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
