2014 three-star athlete Dallas Rivers has been getting a flurry of offers recently, but it is the Vanderbilt Commodores who likely stand at the top. For the second straight week, Rivers will be unofficially visiting Vanderbilt, and the ‘Dores are tabbed by most recruiting experts as the favorites to land Rivers. However, the West Virginia Mountaineers and Louisville Cardinals are also heavily involved in his recruitment.
Just a couple of days ago, Rivers received an offer from the Virginia Tech Hokies. The top 50 recruit in the state of Georgia also has offers from the Arizona Wildcats, Virginia Cavaliers, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Tennessee Volunteers, Syracuse Orange, Minnesota Golden Gophers, Connecticut Huskies, Maryland Terrapins, Cincinnati Bearcats, Nebraska Cornhuskers, and Boston College Eagles. He could also receive an offer from the Auburn Tigers in the near future if all goes well.
Rivers is a 6’0″, 200 pound star for Stephenson High, and he translates best at a running back at the collegiate level. Arguably one of the top 50 athletes in the nation and one of the top 500 recruits in the 2014 class as a whole, Rivers is being heavily recruited in the state of Tennessee. In addition to two visits to Vandy, he has also taken recent unofficial trips to Tennessee and Middle Tennessee. Rivers also visited Auburn this month.
Overall, this is a guy who would be a great three-star catch for any team, and WVU, Louisville, and Vanderbilt are three teams with a great shot at landing him.
