Jalen Harris may only be a 2015 recruit, but that hasn’t stopped him from being a part of the Alabama Crimson Tide and Auburn Tigers rivalry early on. Both in-state programs have hosted the Montgomery prospect on unofficial visits following Auburn’s hosting of Harris yesterday in Harris’s third junior day appearance.
The 6’5″, 240 pound star tight end from St. James School does not have an early offers yet, but the interest from Alabama and Auburn has been plenty. Jalen Harris visited Alabama all the way back in late October, and he attended Alabama’s junior day as a sophomore in late February. He also attended Georgia Tech’s junior day earlier this month, and those are definitely three teams in the Southeast region to keep a close eye on in Harris’s recruitment.
He also also received interest from the Kentucky Wildcats, so that gives him four interested teams in total with three of them being in the SEC.
One of the best players in the state, Harris showed promise in his sophomore season and finished the year with 12 receptions for 216 yards and one touchdown. The tight end reportedly enjoyed his visit to Auburn and is high on the Tigers at this point in time.
