Football Recruiting: Elijah Lee Commits to Kansas State

Three-star 2014 outside linebacker and weak-side defensive end Elijah Lee verbally committed to the Kansas State Wildcats on March 26th. He became the fourth recruit from the Class of 2014 to verbally commit to KSU just fourteen days after receiving an offer from the Wildcats. He joins recruits: Dalvin Warmack, Dalton Risner, and Robert Castaneda.

The Blue Spring, Missouri recruit had received offers from the Kansas State Wildcats, Toledo Rockets, and Wyoming Cowboys.

Lee made the choice to leave his home state of Missouri to play his college ball at KSU. Among the teams interested in him, Missouri and Kansas were two of the teams. Lee only visited with four teams (all Junior Days).

These teams were the Missouri Tigers, Kansas Jayhawks, Illinois Fighting Illini, and Iowa Hawkeyes.

Lee is a 6’3″, 210 pound linebacker/defensive end (being recruited as a linebacker) from Blue Springs, Missouri. He is currently a junior at Blue Springs High School. In 2012, Lee recorded 72 tackles, 33.5 tackles-for-loss, 15.5 sacks, one interception, one forced fumble, and one fumble recovery.

According to 247 Sports, Lee runs a 4.56 40-yard dash.

The three-star recruit is currently ranked 5th in the state of Missouri and 35th among outside linebackers by 247Sports.
