After visiting the Miami Hurricanes on Monday, 2014 weak-side defensive end Andrew Williams received yet another offer from Rich Rodriguez’s Arizona Wildcats on Tuesday. The top 20 recruit in the state of Georgia is receiving a ton of attention from coast to coast and the Arizona offer became his 37th thus far.
Andrew Williams has offers from the Alabama Crimson Tide, Arizona Wildcats, Boston College Eagles, Clemson Tigers, Duke Blue Devils, Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns, Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Missouri Tigers, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Nebraska Cornhuskers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, Oklahoma Sooners, Oklahoma State Cowboys, Ole Miss Rebels, South Carolina Gamecocks, Stanford Cardinal, Syracuse Orange, Tennessee Volunteers, Texas A&M Aggies, USC Trojans, Vanderbilt Commodores, Virginia Tech Hokies, Washington Huskies, West Virginia Mountaineers, and Wisconsin Badgers.
The 6’4″, 231 pound defensive end is one of the top 20 players in the state of Georgia and one of the top 200 players in the entire nation.
In 2012, he recorded 60 tackles, twenty-eight tackles-for-loss, and eighteen sacks.
Although Williams has thirty-seven offers, the two teams to look out for are the two teams that have not yet offered at the 2014 recruit.
The Georgia Bulldogs and Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets have not offered at him, but could play as major teams during Williams’ recruitment process. Right now, Georgia has three verbals from the 2014 class and all of them are from the state of Georgia.
Depending on how things play out, I wouldn’t sleep on the Georgia Bulldogs with any Georgia recruit including Andrew Williams.
