Presenting The Fansided 150 2014 Recruiting Rankings

In order to create a “one-stop-shop” type atmosphere for college football fans, we at have developed a weighted formula that allows you to find a recruit’s “true” ranking. By taking into account the strengths and flaws of the four major recruiting services (Rivals, Scout, 247, ESPN), we have compiled a list of the top 150 college football prospects in the recruiting class of 2014, complete with measurables and highlight reels.

It comes as no surprise that Virginia defensive end Da’Shawn Hand comes in at the top of the list. He is ranked 1st by 247Sports and Rivals and 2nd by Scout. After Hand and FanSided 150’s 2nd ranked prospect, RB Leonard Fournette, the experts don’t agree on much.

We’ve settled the argument for you.

The FanSided 150 will be flexible through signing day of 2014. When ESPN releases their rankings, we’ll fire the math machine back up and make updates. When any of the services update their rankings, we’ll update ours, accordingly. As fans, you know who to trust, and we’re fans just like you. The services who carry the most credibility are treated as such in the FanSided 150 equation, solidifying as THE place to find the best “average” rankings for the top players in the country.

You can check the rankings anytime by visiting the home page and clicking on RANKINGS.
