Ole Miss Football Recruiting: Marcus Green visits TCU

The TCU Horned Frogs welcomed one of the top 50 recruits in the state of Texas yesterday in high-end three-star Cedar Hill High standout Marcus Green. The 35th-ranked cornerback in the 247Composite, Green is on the cusp of a top 400 ranking and is a prospect that TCU, Baylor, Ole Miss, and Missouri fans will be keeping a close eye on.

Green is high on all four of those schools, and it will be interesting to see when the Baylor Bears and TCU send in offers for the Texas product. He currently has just two offers in his recruitment, and both of them are from the SEC schools Ole Miss and Mizzou. Following his visit to TCU yesterday, Green has now visited both in-state programs, as he attended Baylor’s junior day in early February.

SMU, Texas, Texas A&M, and LSU are four other programs with interest, so Green is certainly gaining quite a bit of looks in the state and from major programs in the SEC.

The 6’1″, 180 pound cornerback runs a 4.63 forty and is a three-star corner who has caught the eyes of many national analysts. Green is expected to receive a flood of offers at some point in the near future, and it will be interesting to see if TCU draws first blood in the state of Texas.
