Pac-12 Football Recruiting Roundup: USC Trojans offer Iman Marshall, Adarius Pickett

A new feature on the FanSided150.com site will be periodic recruiting round-ups of the six power conferences, where we take a look at recruiting news and headlines directly pertaining to schools in that conference. Our inaugural edition will focus on the west’s mighty Pac-12 conference.

Four-star wide receiver Mark Andrew hails from Scottsdale and is one of the top five wide receivers in the nation, and he checks in at 62nd in our FanSided150 rankings. Andrews was deservingly invited to the Army All-American game and is a huge target for in-state powers in the Arizona Wildcats and Arizona State Sun Devils. The USC Trojans are also a school that Andrews is high on, but they all have stiff competition from the Michigan Wolverines, Ohio State Buckeyes, and Notre Dame Fighting Irish. Andrews, one of the top three recruits in the state, is also high on the Texas A&M Aggies and the Oklahoma Sooners. He has visits lined up to Michigan, Notre Dame, and Ohio State later this month.

Solid three-star running back Demario Richard checks in at 26th among running backs in the 247Composite, and he is one of the top 50 recruits in the state of California. The UCLA Bruins look like the team to beat early on in his recruitment, but the Utah Utes look prepared to make a run after offering him yesterday.

The USC Trojans offered Iman Marshall yesterday, and he is expected to commit to either USC or the rival Bruins- expect the Trojans to hold an edge in his recruitment.

Joe Mixon checks in at 95th in our recruiting rankings, and the four-star Pac-12 target was also named to the Army All-American Game. Offered by USC at their junior day, Mixon is high on the Trojans, California Golden Bears, and the Washington Huskies up north in Pac-12 country.

Our friends at the Washington State Cougars site All Coug’d Up break down the film of 2014 Sacramento speed demon, RB Calvin Greene, who is tabbed by the site as an underrated back.

USC was certainly busy on the recruiting trail yesterday, as they also offered top 200 recruit Adarius Pickett, who easily earned four stars at the cornerback position. Watch for four Pac-12 teams in his recruitment: the California Golden Bears, USC Trojans, UCLA Bruins, and the Arizona State Sun Devils.
