Four-star dual-threat quarterback DeShone Kizer unofficially visited a pair of Pac-12 school on April 4th. All of Kizer’s offers are from the East Coast and Midwest, but the 2014 recruit made a trip to California in order to visit the USC Trojans and UCLA Bruins.
The Toledo, Ohio native has received offers from the Kentucky Wildcats, Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Arkansas Razorbacks, Boston College Eagles, Bowling Green Falcons, Illinois Fighting Illini, Michigan State Spartans, North Carolina Tar Heels, Penn State Nittany Lions, Purdue Boilermakers, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Syracuse Orange, Tennessee Volunteers, and Toledo Rockets.
Out of all his offers, the teams Kizer seems most interested in are Kentucky, Louisville, LSU, and Nebraska. Anything can happen, but right now it seems as if it is a race between interstate rivals. Kentucky and Louisville seem to be at the top of the list and I believe that they are the favorites thus far.
If we see some offers come from the west coast, then that would definitely shake things up with DeShone Kizer. However, as of now, it seems like the bulk of the interest in this recruit is coming from the East Coast and Midwest.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 20th in the state of Ohio and 6th among dual-threat quarterbacks by 247Sports.
