Alabama Football Recruiting: Marshon Lattimore to Visit Ohio State

The Ohio State Buckeyes will host one of the best cornerbacks in the country today and tomorrow in four-star CB Marshon Lattimore. Lattimore is our 28th ranked recruit in the FanSided150 rankings, and he is also the best recruit from the state of Ohio and a top five cornerback. Early on, it seems that the Ohio native is leaning towards the Buckeyes.

Lattimore has some major offers from the Ohio State Buckeyes, Alabama Crimson Tide, Cincinnati Bearcats, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Illinois Fighting Illini, Indiana Hoosiers, Louisville Cardinals, Maryland Terrapins, Michigan Wolverines, Michigan State Spartans, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Penn State Nittany Lions, Tennessee Volunteers, UCLA Bruins, Toledo Rockets, USC Trojans, and West Virginia Mountaineers.

This weekend’s visit from Marshon Lattimore is huge for the Ohio State Buckeyes.

This past Friday, the Buckeyes picked up their sixth commitment from the 2014 class and they could make huge ground with an Ohio recruit that is already favoring OSU.

It seems like Urban Meyer is “roping off” the state of Ohio and targeting quite a few in-state prospects (much like Howard Schnellenberger of the early 80s Miami Hurricanes roped off Miami). The Buckeyes already have the 8th best recruiting class for 2014 and Lattimore could help push them into the Top five.
