2014 three-star wide receiver Keyan Williams received another major offers in his recruitment yesterday, as the Missouri Tigers became the latest notable program to offer the New Orleans prospect. Williams is the 38th-best recruit in the state of Louisiana, and he currently holds seven offers and interest from some huge programs.
The Texas A&M Aggies, Boise State Broncos, Washington State Cougars, and San Diego State Aztecs have all offered Keyan Williams. He has received interest from LSU, Notre Dame, Colorado, USC, UCLA, Oregon State, Vanderbilt, and California as well. It’s interesting to see that Williams has gained so much interest from the Pac-12, and I doubt Washington State ends up being his only Pac-12 offer when it’s all said and done.
Tulane is one of the smaller schools to have offered Williams, and it will be interesting to see how they impact his recruitment. After all, his father Keith Williams is Tulane’s wide receiver’s coach, and that would make for an interesting storyline. Williams’s own position coach would be his father.
It is very early in the process for Williams so the Lusher Charter School star has no current leans, and he hasn’t taken any recent visits either. The 247Composite rates Williams as the 93rd best wide receiver in the country, as well as one of the top 75o recruits in the nation overall (732). The small, speedy wideout’s offer from Mizzou gives him two SEC offers, so his recruitment is definitely one to watch.
