2014 two-star Fort Lauderdale inside linebacker Jaboree Williams received the third major offer in his recruitment today from the North Carolina Tar Heels, and this comes just a couple of days after the Pittsburgh Panthers became the second ACC program to offer. Williams currently has three ACC offers from the Wake Forest Demon Deacons, Pitt, and UNC, and he has a long list of offers from less-heralded programs.
The East Carolina Pirates, SMU Mustangs, Appalachian State, Florida Atlantic, Marshall, Memphis, South Alabama, Eastern Michigan, and Tulane are other schools that have offered Jaboree Williams. Miami, Duke, Alabama, N.C. State, West Virginia, USF, Notre Dame, Kentucky, Georgia, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Florida, Auburn, and Cincinnati are the list of teams with interest.
It is far too early for Williams to have any leans, and I expect a few of the listed programs to offer the two-star ILB. Williams is ranked by the 247Composite as one of the top 70 inside linebackers in the 2014 class, and the 247Composite ranks the Ford Lauderdale standout as the 208th-best prospect in the state of Florida.
Williams is 6’1″, 210 pounds and runs a 4.84 forty, and he attended Florida Atlanta’s junior day last month. Dan Disch has been recruiting Williams to UNC, and they are definitely a school to watch closely in his recruitment. I think East Carolina, UNC, Pittsburgh, South Alabama, Wake Forest, and Florida Atlantic are six schools with offers to watch in his recruitment.
