LSU Football Recruiting: Ohio State Visits Tony Brown

On May 13th, the Ohio State Buckeyes sent their conorbacks coach, Kerry Coombs, to Beaumont, Texas in order to visit 2014 cornerback Tony Brown. Brown is the 2nd best cornerback and Texas recruit while also being ranked 10th on the Fansided150 2014 Football Rankings.

The five-star cornerback has received offers from the LSU Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida State Seminoles, Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn Tigers, Baylor Bears, Illinois Fighting Illini, Michigan State Spartans, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oklahoma Sooners, Ole Miss Rebels, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, South Carolina Gamecocks, TCU Horn Frogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, and West Virginia Mountaineers.

The teams that Brown is heavily interested in are LSU, Alabama, Florida State, Ohio State, Texas, and Texas A&M.

Although, many seem to think that LSU is at the head of the pack.

Out of fifteen predictions, the 247 Sports Crystal Ball currently has the Tigers as an 100% predicted location for the 2014 recruit.

I would be surprised if Tony Brown didn’t commit to the LSU Tigers. This is because he has family ties to the university as Brown’s sister signed with LSU for track and field.

The five-star recruit is currently ranked 2nd in the state of Texas, 2nd among cornerbacks, and 14th among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
