Auburn Football Recruiting: Ole Miss Offers Rashaan Evans

After unofficially visiting the Auburn Tigers over the weekend, 2014 outside linebacker Rashaan Evans received an offer from an up-and-coming power in the SEC. On May 14th, the Ole Miss Rebels extended out an offer to the Auburn native. Evans is rated as a 90 on 247 Sports and is the 10th best recruit in the state of Alabama.

Rashaan Evans has received offers from the Auburn Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Bulldogs, Tennessee Volunteers, UCLA Bruins, Alabama Crimson Tide, Arizona Wildcats, Clemson Tigers, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Indiana Hoosiers, Kentucky Wildcats, Louisiana Tech Bulldogs, Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns, LSU Tigers, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Minnesota Golden Gophers, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Nebraska Cornhuskers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ole Miss Rebels, Oregon Ducks, Purdue Boilermakers, South Carolina Gamecocks, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders, USC Trojans, and Washington Huskies.

Although he has received offers from so many teams, the four-star linebacker is heavily interested in Auburn, Florida State, Georgia, Tennessee, and UCLA.

According the 247Sports Crystal Ball, the insiders and reporters all predict that the Auburn Tigers will land the four-star recruit.

Even Christopher Nee, FSU insider, predicts Auburn to get him.

For the teams behind the Tigers in the race for Rashaan Evans, the road will be long and hard.

Ole Miss might be able to offer the same kind of competition as the Auburn Tigers, but they miss just one thing. That would be the fact that they aren’t located in Auburn, Alabama. Its still a long way until Signing Day 2014, but the Tigers seem to have an early lead.

Although, Ole Miss was able to land the top recruit from the Class of 2013. So, anything is possible.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 10th in the state of Alabama and 25th among outside linebackers by 247Sports.
