2014 offensive guard Isaiah Wynn received an offer from the Iowa State Cyclones on May 14th. Wynn is rated as a 91 and is ranked in the top 200 on 247 Sports.
The four-star Florida recruit has received offers from the Auburn Tigers, Florida Gators, Georgia Bulldogs, Ole Miss Rebels, Vanderbilt Commodores, Arizona Wildcats, Arkansas Razorbacks, Florida State Seminoles, Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets, Indiana Hoosiers, Iowa State Cyclones, Kansas Jayhawks, Kentucky Wildcats, Louisiana-Lafayette Ragin’ Cajuns, Marshall Thundering Herd, Michigan State Spartans, Missouri Tigers, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Nebraska Cornhuskers, North Carolina Tar Heels, Ohio Bobcats, Tennessee Volunteers, Central Florida Knights, Wake Forest Demon Deacons, West Virginia Mountaineers, Western Michigan Broncos, and South Florida Bulls.
However, when it comes down to it, Wynn’s unofficial top five teams consist of Auburn, Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss, and Vanderbilt.
The 247 Sports Crystal Ball has four teams as possible landing spots for Wynn, but only three from his top five. They are Florida, Arkansas, Vanderbilt, and Georgia. There are nine predictions and the Bulldogs are the top predicted choice (58% of the vote).
From the looks at his offers, it seems like Wynn is very interested in competitive teams (also known as the SEC). Iowa State will need to make the pitch that they are better than all the SEC teams (which might be almost impossible).
One team to keep an eye on during Wynn’s recruitment will be Ole Miss. They made a huge splash on Signing Day in 2013 and are looking to pick up more steam in before Signing Day 2014.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 20th in the state of Florida, 12th among offensive guards, and 186th among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
