Tennessee Football Recruiting: Georgia Offers Josh Malone

2014 Gallatin, Tennessee four-star wide receiver Josh Malone received yet another major offer Monday from the Georgia Bulldogs. The third-best recruit in the state of Tennessee, Malone is high on the radars of the Georgia Bulldogs, Auburn Tigers, Florida State Seminoles, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Ohio State Buckeyes, South Carolina Gamecocks, Tennessee Volunteers, Vanderbilt Commodores, and Virginia Tech Hokies. Malone is also ranked 90th on the Fansided150 2014 Football Rankings.

The Arkansas Razorbacks, Baylor Bears, Florida Gators, Illinois Fighting Illini, Louisville Cardinals, LSU Tigers, Miami Hurricanes, Michigan Wolverines, Ole Miss Rebels, Stanford Cardinal, and Texas A&M Aggies have all offered the highly-acclaimed 2014 prospect. Malone has received plenty of offers from huge football programs and the Bulldogs are just the latest one to jump on his recruiting train.

Malone is one of the top 20 wide receivers in the country, and one of the top 5 recruits in the state of Tennessee. It will be interesting to see what kind of push Georgia can make at Malone because of the amount of talented squads bidding for his services. Right now, Tennessee seems to be the hot spot among the experts as the 247 Sports Crystal Ball has the Vols as the predicted landing spot for the Tennessee native.

In 2012, Malone recorded 408 receiving yards on 28 receptions and five receiving touchdowns. He also had 101 rushing yards on fifteen carries and a single rushing touchdown.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 3rd in the state of Tennessee, 11th among wide receivers, and 90th among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
