2014 wide receiver Adonis Jennings received an offer from the Kansas Jayhawks on May 27th. Jennings is the eleventh best recruit from the state of New Jersey and is ranked 280th in the 247 Sports Composite Rankings.
The four-star New Jersey native has received offers from the Arizona Wildcats, Clemson Tigers, Conneticut Huskies, Delaware Blue Hens, Iowa Hawkeyes, Kansas Jayhawks, Pittsburgh Panthers, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, Temple Owls, and Western Michigan Broncos. In addition, G.A. Mangus is reportedly recruiting Jennings to the South Carolina Gamecocks, and it would certainly be big for Jennings to nab an offer from the Gamecocks.
However, many recruiting experts are predicting that the New Jersey native will stay at home. The 247 Sports Crystal Ball currently has the Rutgers Scarlet Knights as the 100% predicted spot to land the 2014 recruit.
Jennings’ biggest skill as a recruit is his size. He stands tall at 6’3″ and uses his height to go up for balls. Not only does he use his size as a receiver, but as a blocker as well.
Jennings’ weakest skill could be his speed, but he uses this to his advantage. He is not the fastest receiver, however, he changes speed very effectively as a receiver to avoid many defenders.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 11th in the state of New Jersey and 32nd among wide receiver by 247Sports.
