On Monday, the Arkansas Razorbacks gave one of the most recent BCS offer to three-star Fort Lauderdale cornerback Deion Hallmon, who is rated as one of the top 50 cornerbacks in the country. Hallmon’s recruitment is currently wide open early, but he is starting to receive several offers with the most recent being from Arkansas and South Carolina.
Hallmon has received numerous BCS offers, but is highly interested in the Florida State Seminoles, North Carolina State Wolfpack, Ole Miss Rebels,Rutgers Scarlet Knights, South Carolina Gamecocks, South Florida Bulls, Syracuse Orange, Washington State Cougars, West Virginia Mountaineers, and Wisconsin Badgers.
The Razorbacks will need to make a strong case towards Hallmon if they want a chance to earn his commitment this season. Right now, they are well behind some notable teams and 247 Sports reports that Hallmon has strong ties to West Virginia.
No one seems to know for sure where Deion Hallmon could end up committing to as the recruiting experts on 247 Sports’ Crystal Ball have Syracuse, West Virginia, and Rutgers as the predicted teams to land him. Syracuse has the most votes (60%) of the three.
In 2012, Hallmon intercepted a total of seven passes.
The three-star recruit is currently ranked 65th in the state of Florida and 46th among cornerbacks by 247Sports.
