The Missouri Tigers landed a solid shooting guard from the class of 2014 on June 28th, as Chris Sandifer made the call and committed to the Tigers.
Sandifer is not only the 9th best recruit from the state of California, but is also ranked 78th among all the prospects in the class of 2014.
The other teams that offered at Sandifer, but did not get his commitment were the Colorado Buffaloes, San Diego State Aztecs, and the UNLV Runnin’ Rebels.
After watching his film from the Adidas Invitational, it looks like Missouri got a nice pickup in Chris Sandifer. Some of Sandifer’s shot might not look pretty, but they go down.
Yes, he is listed as a shooting guard, but the Gardena, California native possesses the skills to bring the ball down the court like a point guard.
He can ball handle, shoot, pass, drive to the hoop, and finish at the rim. I would not be surprised to see Chris Sandifer break the starting lineup at Missouri next season.
The four-star recruit is currently ranked 9th in the state of California, 19th among shooting guards, and 78th among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
