The Georgia Bulldogs extended an offer to one of the top prospects in the state of California from the Class of 2015 in five-star pro-style quarterback Ricky Town. On top of being the best ranked prospect in the state of California, Town is ranked in the Top 5 among all 2015 recruits by 247 Sports.

Town is also on the early radars of the Alabama Crimson Tide, Texas Longhorns, Miami Hurricanes, UCLA Bruins, Arizona State Sun Devils, and Florida State Seminoles.

Its projected that Town’s unofficial “Top 5″ are Alabama, Georgia, Texas, Miami, and UCLA. However, some of the recruiting experts are making early predictions for the Ventura, California native to pick Bama or Georgia.

Right now, three out of the four recruiting experts on the 247 Sports Crystal Ball have Town committing to the Crimson Tide.

The young high school junior does show a lot of positives in his game, but also has some areas that could be improved upon. By far, his best skill is his intangibles on the football field, and he also has excellent accuracy, delivery, feet, and pocket presence.

The only places where he could use some improvement would be his arm strength and reactive quickness. However, he will be a quality commitment for whichever team he decides to choose in the future.

The five-star recruit is currently ranked 1st in the state of California, 1st among pro-style quarterbacks, and 3rd nationally among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
