Florida Football Recruiting: Anthony Moten Decommits From Gators

On Saturday, 2014 defensive tackle Anthony Moten decommitted from the Florida Gators. Moten originally committed to the Gators on April 2nd and is one of the Top 25 DTs from the Class of 2014.

Moten has received a lot of offers, but is only interested in the Florida Gators, Florida State Seminoles, Miami Hurricanes, South Carolina Gamecocks, and Alabama Crimson Tide.

Since the announcement of Moten’s decommitment, the recruiting experts have been predicting where the Fort Lauderdale, FL native will commit to next. Right now, all nine recruiting experts on the 247 Sports Crystal Ball have Moten committing to Miami (FL).

Anthony Moten is a very quality defensive tackle from the Class of 2014. At 6’9″, 279 pounds, he has the size that kills at the DT position.

On top of his size, Moten contains good strength, explosiveness, hand quickness, and athleticism. He also has a nice first step and high motor.

The four-star recruit is currently ranked 32nd in the state of Florida and 22nd among defensive tackles by 247Sports.
