2014 cornerback Tony Brown is one of the more highly-coveted recruits from the 2014 class, and the Alabama Crimson Tide had a chance to impress the five-star cornerback during an unofficial visit on Wednesday. Brown is among the top 5 cornerbacks from the 2014 class and is ranked 9th on the FanSided150 Class of 2014 Football Rankings.

So far, the Beaumont, TX native has received offers from the LSU Tigers, Alabama Crimson Tide, Florida State Seminoles, Ohio State Buckeyes, Texas Longhorns, Texas A&M Aggies, Arkansas Razorbacks, Auburn Tigers, Baylor Bears, Illinois Fighting Illini, Michigan State Spartans, Mississippi State Bulldogs, Nebraska Cornhuskers, Notre Dame Fighting Irish, Oklahoma Sooners, Ole Miss Rebels, Rutgers Scarlet Knights, South Carolina Gamecocks, TCU Horned Frogs, Texas Tech Red Raiders, UCLA Bruins, USC Trojans, and West Virginia Mountaineers.

Right now, it seems like Brown is a LSU lean with heavy interest in Bama, FSU, OSU, Texas, and Texas A&M. However, Wednesday’s visit was the perfect chance to sway Brown over from LSU to Alabama.

However, the Tigers and Crimson Tide are the two favored teams by recruiting experts when it comes to Tony Brown’s commitment.

Although, 33 out of the 34 recruiting experts on the 247 Sports Crystal Ball have Brown committing to LSU over Alabama.

Tony Brown could be either an amazing pickup or a deadly loss for the Crimson Tide. Brown shows great length and quickness on the football field. He is also a very solid tackler and can change directions well.

Above all, Brown’s best skill has got to be his overall speed. On top of playing football, he also ran track at Ozen High School. At The Opening, Brown recorded a 4.35 40 and 3.85 shuttle during SPARQ testing.

The five-star recruit is currently ranked 2nd  in the state of Texas, 2nd among cornerbacks, and 14th  among 2014 high school recruits by 247Sports.
