On Tuesday night, 2014 outside linebacker Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammad announced via his Facebook and Twitter pages that he has received an official offer from the Missouri Tigers. Rhaheed-Muhammad was once an LSU commit, but decommitted from the Tigers on July 1st and named the Louisville Cardinals as his leader.
So far, Sharieff has received other notable offers from the Louisville Cardinals, Alabama Crimson Tide, Arkansas Razorbacks, Ole Miss Rebels, and Tennessee Volunteers.
At this point during his recruitment, the recruiting experts are predicting the Fort Pierce, FL native to commit to his leading team. All thirteen of the experts on the 247Sports Crystal Ball have Louisville landing Rhaheed-Muhammad’s commitment.
At 6’2″, 202 pounds, Sharieff Rhaheed-Muhammad has a pretty good frame for an outside linebacker and is an effective tackler. He also contains good reactive quickness and pursuit skills when locating the football.
He isn’t the most athletic recruit from the 2014 class and doesn’t contain the best instincts, but will still be a quality pickup for any Division I school. He will need the most work on his lateral movement and how he plays in space at the next level.
Rhaheed-Muhammad told FanSided.com’s Michael Natelli on Tuesday:
“I am considering Mizzou. I like the school, it’s in the SEC, and my favorite player, Aldon Smith, went there.”
The three-star recruit is currently ranked 86th in the state of Florida and 51st among outside linebackers by 247Sports.
