The North Carolina State Wolfpack extended an offer to one of the top prospects from the Class of 2015 in five-star power forward Carlton Bragg on Wednesday. Bragg is the top ranked 2015 recruits from the state of Ohio and is currently ranked in the Top 15 among all 2015 recruits by 247 Sports.
The Cleveland, OH native has received offers from the Illinois Fighting Illini, Ohio State Buckeyes, Cleveland State Vikings, Dayton Flyers, DePaul Blue Demons, Georgetown Hoyas, Indiana Hoosiers, Michigan State Spartans, Texas Longhorns, UCLA Bruins, West Virginia Mountaineers, Wisconsin Badgers, and Xavier Musketeers.
The four teams that are receiving the most interest from Bragg are Illinois, Ohio State, Duke, and Kentucky.
However, the Blue Devils and Wildcats have not extended him an offer at this point.
So far, most of the recruiting experts on the 247Sports Crystal Ball are predicting the Cleveland native to stay in-state with the Buckeyes.
Although he is a PF, Bragg has the ability to shoot from almost anywhere on the court. Surprisingly, he has the ability to knock down 3-pointers just like a shooting guard, but he can also finish at the rim.
Defensively, Carlton Bragg is an amazing shot blocker around the rim. If an opponent is going to take the ball to the rim softly, Brag is going to reject them harshly.
The five-star recruit is currently ranked 1st in the state of Ohio, 4th among power forwards, and 11th nationally among 2015 high school recruits by 247Sports.
