The LSU Tigers landed highly touted 2014 wide receiver Trey Quinn on Saturday afternoon as the dynamic skill player chose the Tigers over Arizona State, Auburn and Arkansas.
Quinn, a four-star recruit according to the 247Sports composite rankings, is the No. 13 overall wide receiver in the nation and the 9th best player in the state of Lousiana. He also comes in as the No. 111 overall player in our 2014 FanSided150 player rankings.
The Tigers and Head Coach Les Miles have always recruited their home state well and Quinn is undoubtedly one of the best in the state of Louisiana.
The 6-1, 200 pound U.S. Army All-American for 2014 has the size to be an outside receiver, but what makes Quinn so talented on film is his speed and ability to produce yards after the catch.
As a junior last season, he recorded 111 catches for an astounding 2,094 yards and 26 touchdowns. In just three seasons, he has accumulated over 4,500 yards and 45 touchdowns.
With the commitment of Quinn, the Tigers now have the No. 13 overall class in the nation, according to the 247Sports team rankings, but they are just seventh overall in the SEC.
Quinn is the 14th commitment overall for the Tigers in the class of 2014, and he becomes to eighth four-star recruit to chose the gold and purple.
