N.C. State Football Recruiting: Kentavius Street Verbally Commits to Wolfpack

For much of the summer and fall, Kentavius Street has been a heavy North Carolina State lean, and he finally decided on Friday afternoon that it was time to pull the trigger and verbally commit to the Wolfpack.

The 2014 four-star defensive end is as talented as they come with his hand on the ground, and I mentioned him a few weeks ago as one of the most underrated recruits in the 2014 class. According to the 247 Sports composite rankings, he is the No.5 overall strong-side defensive end in the nation and the third best overall player in the state of North Carolina for the class of 2014.

The Greenville, N.C. native was thought to have the Georgia Bulldogs as his leader early in the summer, but felt that he wanted to stay closer to home as he chose the Wolfpack over Georgia, Ole Miss and Miami, among others.

The 6-3, 262 pound defensive end has great speed to come in and compete right away in the ACC with a 4.7 forty-yard dash to go along with his size and length.

Street is the headliner of the 2014 class for N.C. State as he is the only four-star recruit currently committed to the Wolfpack for the class of 2014. With the commitment of Street, N.C. State now as the No. 31 overall class in the nation and the sixth best class in the ACC, according to 247 Sports.
